Initiative in The Interest of Democracy

Luis P. Sanchez, an attorney with offices in San Luis Obispo, has announced the formation of the Madison-Lincoln Initiative, a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to help preserve the nation’s democratic republic by providing workshops throughout the education community on the history, purpose and basic structure of the U.S. Constitution, and on how to foster civil discourse and democratic engagement among our youth.
